Where bourbon meets lemonade.
The Belmont Jewel. The official drink of the Belmont Stakes, it’s where bourbon meets lemonade. We’d liken it to a warm weather version of a hot toddy, but without a hint of spice.
Sweet, tarte, and fresh, this is the kind of cocktail perfectly suited for a summer party with a bunch of friends and good old charcuterie spread.
Belmont Jewel Cocktail Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz 1792 Bourbon
- 2 oz Lemonade
- 1 oz Pomegranate juice
- Lemon wedge and mint, for garnish
Belmont Jewel Cocktail Directions:
- Add bourbon, lemonade, and pomegranate juice to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake until cold.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge and mint.
