A classic like this never goes out of style
Is there anything more classic at cocktail hour than a John Collins? We think not. Here’s how to make one.
John Collins Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces 1792 Bourbon
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz club soda
- Maraschino cherry for garnish
- Orange peel for garnish
John Collins Directions:
- Add bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a highball glass filled with ice (about ¾ of the way)
- Stir for ten seconds
- Top off the remaining ¼ with club soda
- Garnish with a cherry and an orange peel
- Serve and enjoy
