The Winter Wish List: Scarves, Hats, Gloves … and a Good Flask

by Scott Wagner

There’s more than one way to stay warm this winter.

Now, more than ever, walking seems to be a pastime we’re all getting down with. And now that the days are at their shortest (and coldest), hats, gloves, and scarves are a gift we can give ourselves in the interest of our own self-care — venturing out for a walk mid-December is not nearly as appealing an activity without a scarf as it is with a scarf.

Whether you’re hitting the pavement by way of a city street, suburban block, or country road, keeping warm is a thing so why not look good doing it? Here, in our third iteration of the 1792 Style “Winter Wish List” we’ve gathered up the versions of hats, gloves, and scarves we’d be down to gift ourselves — or the confidante-in-chief we take to the streets with on a daily basis — to get in our steps and keep our heads, necks, and hands warm in the process.

Important to note, and as stated above, there’s more than one way to keep warm. And by that we mean nothing keeps the cold at bay quite like a responsible swig of good bourbon, which we’ve taken into account by highlighting one of this season’s most sought after flasks. From Tiffany, no less — stylish enough to display as part of your home bar and just the right size to slide into a breast pocket.
