Bourbon, meet root beer 

Leonardo DaVinci was onto something when he said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Why muddle up the beauty of something by making it complicated? Well, at least that’s what we were thinking when we developed our latest 1792 signature cocktail, the BRB. There are only two ingredients and it doesn’t need a thing more. Bourbon, meet root beer. 

While those with discerning tastes will likely have a preferred root beer, we recommend one of our new Sazerac family relatives in Freddie’s Old Fashioned Root Beer made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Named for Bourbon Hall-of-Famer Freddie Johnson, this craft root beer is made with all-natural ingredients. You can buy it by the case online.

BRB Cocktail Ingredients: 

• 2 ounces of 1792 Small Batch Bourbon 
• 1 12 ounce bottle of Freddie’s Old Fashioned Root Beer 

BRB Cocktail Directions: 

• Add the bourbon to a glass with ice
• Top it off with root beer and enjoy
